Our usability testing starts from £350.00 for a static website of around 5-10 pages and then increases dependant on the size and complexity of your website.
What is usability testing? |
||||||||||
Usability testing is the process of analysing a website to measure how easily users move around and complete simple tasks.

Why do I need usability testing? |
||||||||||
Usability testing can reveal important flaws in your website and identify just why your site isn't performing well. It can highlight any problem areas and allow a better understanding of how customers perceive and use your site. It can also lead to an increase in sales and returning visitors which will in turn help your site move closer to the top of any search engine.
What we do |
||||||||||
When we undertake any usability testing we like to first meet with new clients in order to understand their business and website needs and goals. During our discussions we encourage clients to analyse their own website and highlight for us what they believe to be the main problems. We often find that businesses know very well what the problem is but are unable to implement an adequate solution. In order to test your website we use a group of testers, with a wide demographic spread, who will all visit your site individually.

Usability testing documentation |

At the end of testing we will provide you with a written report which will highlight all of our findings. The report will identify problem areas and list several potential solutions to those problems. Each problem area will be rated according to its priority, allowing you to prioritise the most important areas to change. Each solution provided will be rated according to its complexity and effectiveness, allowing you to choose the most practical and cost effective solution. As a visual aid screen shots will be used to explain problem areas. Positive aspects of your site will also be highlighted so that they can remain unchanged and if possible their type can be duplicated elsewhere on the website. We will be happy to visit you and discuss the report and help you implement any changes you wish.
Continuous testing |
||||||||||
Testing your site for usability is not a one off, if you constantly update your products, services or any online forms or processes you will need to monitor their impact on users. As we have staff experienced in software development we can implement permanent feedback solutions onto your website in the form of interactive questionnaires, feedback forms and surveys. This will allow you to softly monitor the performance of your website changes and minimise the need for further usability testing. However, major website changes or market changes would still require further usability testing.
