| We start by meeting with you at your office or talking to you over the telephone to find out about your business and what your requirements are. | |||||||||||
The quote |

| A few days after our discussion we supply you with a quotation. The quote specifies your website requirements and our solutions. This usually includes extra features brainstormed after our discussions and future development ideas you may not have thought of. The quote also contains the cost of the system with a payment schedule. | |||||||||||
Access to the client area of W3 Communications website |

| If you are happy to proceed with W3 Communications as your provider we then provide you with your own username and password to access the secure client area on the W3 Communications website. From here you will be able to monitor your website's progress. | |||||||||||
Specification document |

| The specification document includes a description of your requirements as discussed in previous meetings, a detailed description of our solutions as discussed in previous meetings, website layout diagram, website page structure, database design and future development concepts. | |||||||||||
Logo design |

| When we design a website logo we make sure it fits in with your companies current image, colour scheme and business name. We will usually design several logo's for you to choose from and are happy to alter logo's or merge ideas. | |||||||||||

| The design for the website is created in Photoshop according to your specification taking into account the website structure, colour schemes, themes, images or ideas you have stipulated you prefer. We are happy to make any changes to this template prior to the development phase commencing. | |||||||||||
Website development |

| The development is always done in stages. The basic database structure for the website is designed and created first and then the website pages are designed and created. Website interactivity is then programmed onto the pages. Then the text and images can be placed on the pages. After the front end of the website is completed the content management system can be designed and created. | |||||||||||

Testing |

| All systems we design are thoroughly tested at each stage of development and all bug fixes completed before launch. We also give our clients the opportunity to thoroughly test the system to make sure everything is working according to their requirements. We are happy to perform small minor fixes to the way the system works, however large structural changes which deviate considerably from the original quote will need to be either negotiated under a separate contract or charged at an hourly rate. | |||||||||||
Hosting |

| If you require a hosting solution we can advise you on which hosting provider would be best for you and which server solution you would require. We can purchase this on your behalf and set up your website and email accounts. | |||||||||||
Website launch |

| The website is completed and handed over to you. You are the sole owner of all the code, images and text which appears on the website. We will supply you with all usernames and passwords for hosting purposes. | |||||||||||
Search engine submission |

| We will submit your website to the major search engines and web directories. Which includes: Google, AltaVista, MSN, HotBot, AllTheWeb, AOL, iWon, Netscape, Lycos, Teoma, AskJeeves, DMOZ, Looksmart and Microsoft Bcentral. | |||||||||||
Ongoing support |

| As with all systems the true testing comes when you launch. Large bespoke systems typically have bugs which are only highlighted through testing in the field. We will be happy to fix any issues that arise for a period of one month after the contract has completed. Once the contract is completed we can supply further support based on an hourly rate, under a new contract or a support contract. | |||||||||||
